As a result of her years of working and studying at the Hyatt and gaining experience in high-quality environments, Celia has developed excellent organizational skills. As part of her apprenticeship, not only did she learn managerial skills, but also how to clean to a five-star standard, organize stock, communicate with VIPs, and do administrative and event planning tasks. Celia offers this service only if there are no children in her care. It is not a childcare service. In the event that there are no children under Celia's care at the time, she can help run errands, prepare dinner, clean and tidy up after the school drop-off. In a familiar environment, your children can thrive and feel secure in the care that Celia provides. Celia will follow your family's routines, such as preparing nutritious meals for your child. The "In-Home" care day can include extracurricular, cultural activities such as visits to museum, opera house, playgroups, trips to the playground park, and more. ​ This service may include: ​ • Keeping to the children’s routine with naps and meals • Generalised clearing of toys and bedrooms and cleaning up after meals herself and the child, Celia does not clean up the previous mess as her full focus is on the child and not housekeeping • Creating fun and educational activities and outings, both indoors and outdoors • Laundry and tidying up, Celia can assist parents when required only if the child sleeps more than 30min. Terms & Conditions Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service Terms and Conditions ​ The below Terms and Conditions for Babysitting and Nannying Services are a binding agreement between you as the Client and Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service ABN 50984336221 of the State of New South Wales. Acceptance of Services is an immediate agreement regarding Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service Terms and Conditions. ​ 1. Definitions 1.1 “Celia Uribe” is the assigned nanny of Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service. 1.2 “Child” shall mean the child enrolled with Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service. 1.3 “Parent” shall mean the legal guardian (or guardians) of the Child and is the person (or persons) responsible for payment of the Fees. 1.4 “Services” shall mean all services supplied by Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service to the Parents and includes any advice or recommendations. 1.5 “Nanny” or “Babysitter” shall mean the nanny Celia Uribe who is supplied by Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service to the Parent who is to provide the Services 1.6 “Fee” shall mean the cost of the Services as agreed between Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service and the Parents. 2. Payment 2.1 At Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service sole discretion the Fee shall be as indicated on invoices provided by Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service to the Parent in respect of Services supplied. 2.2 At Celia Uribe’s sole discretion; payment shall be due on provision of Celia Uribe at an hourly rate per child 2.3 Additional fees may apply if Services are to be provided on Public Holidays, Saturday’s and Sunday’s if requested by the Parents. 3. Emergency Contacts 3.1 The Parent must provide Celia Uribe’s nanny service with the names and addresses of two responsible persons over the age of eighteen (18) who can be contacted in case of an emergency or illness. 4. Medication 4.1 A Parent whose child requires administration of medication will: (a) complete the appropriate form at Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service; and (b) provide the correct medication in its original container; and (c) provide written instructions from a medical practitioner for the administration of such medication; and (d) Provide Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service with a doctor’s name and contact phone number to use in the event of an emergency of any kind. 4.2 Celia Uribe, the nanny shall be authorised to administer medication only in accordance with the Parents written authority. In doing so, Celia Uribe is to be regarded as acting in place of the Parent. 4.3 The Parent will as soon as is reasonably able notify Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service of any changes or developments in the child’s medical history. 5. Insurance and Liability 5.1 The maximum liability of Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service under this contract shall at no time exceed the amount of Public Liability and/or Products Liability insurance cover carried by Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service. 6. Confidentiality 6.1 All information and services provided to Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service are treated as Private and Confidential. 7. Obligations for Nanny/Babysitting Service 7.1 Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service’s Obligations to Client: Acknowledge and agree that Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service is engaged to: Match the Clients requirements. Provide a suitable service for Babysitting and Nannying Assignments required by the Client. 7.2 Client Obligations to Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service: The Client acknowledges and agrees to the following; To provide true and accurate Booking information. Pay Invoices within the deadline. Is responsible to provide a safe, stable environment for Celia Uribe to provide services within. The Client is required to comply with any legislation relating to Public Liability, Industrial Relations and SafeWork. 8. Fees 8.1 Booking Fee and Hourly Rate $38 per hour to Book Celia Uribe for under five hours Monday – Friday $35 per hour for Bookings over five hours Monday – Friday $25 per hour per child for (minimum of two separate families and a maximum of four children) Monday – Sunday $48 per hour Sunday and Saturday and Pubilc Holiday Rates for under five hours $45 Sunday and Saturday and Pubilc Holiday Rates for over five hours 8.3 Depending on location a Travel Fee may apply. 8.4 Babysitting and Nannying Bookings Accounts not settled in full prior to the commencement date of the booking may result in the Booking being cancelled. ​ 9. Security and Privacy 9.1 Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service respects the right to the client's Privacy, and that the client has control in how their personal information is collected, used and stored. All information entered on this form will be treated as strictly confidential. 9.2 Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service follows the PCI Security Standards (PCI) and abides by its comprehensive standards and supporting materials to enhance payment card data security. PCI Security Standards are technical and operational requirements set by the PCI Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) to protect cardholder data. Cancellations 10.2 Babysitting and Nannying Assignment Booking Fees are generally nonrefundable, regardless of the reason, notice provided and circumstances. Refunds are provided only at the discretion of Celia. 10.2 If Celia works with a family in a long-term commitment refunds for cancellations may be provided according to the list below: Cancellation within 24 hours of scheduled booking, this includes cancellations of any hours - 100% charge of full booking fee Cancellation greater than 24 hours and less than 5 days before scheduled booking - 50 % charge of full booking fee Cancellation greater than 5 days before scheduled booking - No charge Cancellation made by Celia Uribe - No charge ​ 11. Disclaimer Any claim or discrepancy resulting from or relating to this Agreement, or the breach thereof, shall be addressed directly by Celia Uribe’s Nanny Service, the Client and Legal Representatives. 12. Overtime Celia Uribe Any time worked in addition to the agreed-upon hours will incur a surcharge of 10% and has to be paid immediately after the end of the shift. ​ 13. Housekeeping Celia will not undertake any housekeeping or housework for the family apart from tidying up after herself and the child on the day of the booking. The main focus of the job for Celia Uribe as a professional nanny is the child. 14. Extra kids/friends of children Any extra children requiring Celia’s care is to be discussed in advance, this will change the original one family only fee. For safety reasons Celia prefers to meet the parents of all children prior to caring for them. Please do not add additional children to Celia Uribe’s service without previous to the beginning of the job discussed. 15. Sick children Celia will not care for sick children as she minds a lot of kids including infants and must avoid spreading illnesses to other people. The client has to cancel their appointment if the child is sick. The Full Story About Celia Uribe Over five years ago, Celia Uribe moved from a mythical town in Switzerland to NSW Australia, living in NSW for six years while working as a professional nanny, homemanager, cleaner and artist. Upon starting travelling, Celia was only 19 years old. Her first destination was New Zealand, with the goal of learning how to speak fluent English. She spent many years working and studying in a world-renowned luxury hotel in Zurich, Switzerland, when she was convinced that her career will be in the hotel industry. ​ Celia longed to travel a little more just after she had been to New Zealand, so her next stop was Australia. Celia was always caring for her siblings growing up. She is the second of seven children. Back in Switzerland, Celia's caring manner of babysitting made her popular with neighbors and community members. On arrival in Australia, Celia began working as a Nanny regularly and fell in love with the position. ​ In order to advance her career in the hotel industry, Celia decided to perfect her work and language skills while studying in Sydney and completing an Event Diploma program with success.
