About Celia Uribe

Over five years ago, Celia Uribe moved from a mythical town in Switzerland to NSW Australia, living in NSW for six years while working as a professional nanny, homemanager, cleaner and artist. Upon starting travelling, Celia was only 19 years old. Her first destination was New Zealand, with the goal of learning how to speak fluent English. She spent many years working and studying in a world-renowned luxury hotel in Zurich, Switzerland, when she was convinced that her career will be in the hotel industry.

Celia longed to travel a little more just after she had been to New Zealand, so her next stop was Australia. Celia was always caring for her siblings growing up. She is the second of seven children. Back in Switzerland, Celia's caring manner of babysitting made her popular with neighbors and community members. On arrival in Australia, Celia began working as a Nanny regularly and fell in love with the position.

In order to advance her career in the hotel industry, Celia decided to perfect her work and language skills while studying in Sydney and completing an Event Diploma program with success. After studying and nannying, Celia realized that working with children is her passion. Continuing to work with children, she enrolled in 2021 Curtin University (online degree) to earn her Bachelor of Primary Education.

As a hotel industry student who studied in Switzerland and Australia, Celia values the time she spent there. As a result of this experience, she has developed skills in communication, flexibility, staying calm under pressure, and finding efficient solutions quickly while remaining calm.
